Gina is a military historian and award-winning author and journalist who has written on military topics for more than two decades. As a contributing editor at Military Officer magazine, more than twenty of her stories graced the publication’s cover. She writes narrative nonfiction as well as compelling, heart-pounding, character-driven fiction.
She is a 1984 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in history and was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. She also holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and divides her time between Delaplane, Va., and Annapolis, Md., two towns steeped in history.
Gina is a Maryland native, claiming Baltimore City as her birthplace, and an avid Argentine Tango dancer.
